NORWICH BOSS SPEAKS ON EVERTON TARGET

Norwich City boss Stuart Weaver has had his say on the transfer rumours linking key player Max Aarons with a lot of the big teams in and out of English football. Stuart Weaver is the head of football development and he recently talked about Max Aarons, who has been strongly linked with a move to Merseyside giants Everton. The Norwich City chief spoke about the young English right-back in an interview monitored by Pinkun as he said that the Everton target as the quality to play for a Champions League club. According to him, he won’t be surprised if the player goes on to play in the Champions League when he leaves the Canaries and that Max Aarons has the quality and the temperament for a big move.

Everton have had issues with the right-back position this season and the Toffees are said to be on the lookout for a new right-back ahead of next season. Republic of Ireland international Seamus Coleman is the club skipper and the first choice right-back at Everton but he’s prone to injury in addition to the fact that he has not shown his best form for the club this season. Everton are not the only Premier League team in the hunt for Max Aarons. Apart from the Toffees, Arsenal are also interested in signing the Norwich City player as they prepare for life without Hector Bellerin after this summer. Recent reports claimed that Bellerinwon’t be at Arsenal next season as he wants a new challenge and Max Aarons could be the man to replace him at the Emirates Stadium. Manchester United are another club mooted as the next destination for Max Aarons, while European heavyweights Bayern Munich and Barcelona are also keen on the player.
