Ronald Koeman is glad to have Davy Klaassen in his Side

Ronald Koeman is glad at having secured the services of his countryman and one of the most promising young playmakers in the world Davy Klaassen.

Everton has paid a hefty amount to Ajax to buy Klaassen and Koeman is believed to be the big reason behind the signing of the Dutch player.

As per Koeman, Klaassen is one of those Footballers who are young, but, despite that, are very, very experienced and matured.

Generally, someone in his early twenties is not expected to lead a senior team, be it at any club, but, Klaassen wore the armband at Ajax when he was 22 only and that suggests what kind of a personality he possesses.

He has come to the club as a grown product, but, is still a long term investment with a number of years of Football left in him and for sure, can be a leadership prospect too going into the future. So, from all the viewpoints, it’s a great buy for the club and the fact that it has been secured at the very start of the summer makes it that much better.

Klaassen, on the other hand, seems to be equally happy as well to get associated with Everton and he stresses that it’s his conversation with Koeman which persuaded him to make the decision of leaving his boyhood club Ajax and make the move to the Merseyside.

Recalling that conversation with the head coach, Klaassen says that it’s the honesty and the positivity of Koeman while he was talking to him and telling about his ideas and the brand of Football he prefers which got him impressed and convinced him that Everton was the right club for him to go to and start a new journey.
